How to Measure Hair Extensions

Measure Hair Extensions needed
When you measure hair extensions needed to increase the length of your hair, always stay within four inches of your natural hair length for the most realistic blend. If you desire to extend your hair longer than four inches, we recommend ordering an additional pack of hair extensions.

The length of our hair depends on the texture you choose. Straight hair naturally falls longer because it lies completely flat when it’s measured. Measure the length of curly hair when it is in a straight position because it has more volume for the same weight. The length of our wavy hair texture lies in-between that of the straight and curly.

Choose hair that is within 4 inches longer than your natural hair. This will always give you leeway to trim the ends when you want to and not cut your natural hair. Measure your hair from the middle of your ear downwards using tape to show you roughly where the hair extension will fall on you. It also shows you how far it will fall compared to your own hair.

Extensions for Short Hair

For your short hair, you can wear extensions that are at 3-4 inches long. This will blend naturally. Keep in mind that not all hair extensions work with short hair so the hair extension you choose matters.
